Crisp bake system, Cavaghan & Gray, Carlisle

PK Engineering carried out the design, installation and commissioning of Cavaghan & Gray’s Crisp bake cooling and packing line. The system consists of product handling conveyors with a fully automated path selection system, with transfer to a spiral freezer, then feeding to packaging lines. PK Engineering worked on this project alongside our conveyor manufacture to design and manufacture a best practice system within the food industry. The system is designed to transfer and pack crisp bakes, fish cakes and croquets and to remove labour and increase efficiency at the Carlisle site.
